About Jeffrey Soares

Jeffrey Michael Soares, MS, PA-C, CAQ-Derm, has been practicing general and surgical dermatology in the communities of the South Coast, South Shore, and Cape Cod since receiving his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University in 2009. He is a board certified physician assistant who was awarded a Certificate of Added Qualifications as a member of the inaugural group of PAs who passed the the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants CAQ exam in 2024, demonstrating advanced expertise in the specialty of dermatology. He is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Associates. His work is primarily focused on the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, with a goal of minimizing its morbidity and mortality through early detection and prevention. He also possesses expertise in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic inflammatory and infectious skin diseases. Patient education is fundamental to his practice, and he strives to empower his patients through knowledge and understanding of their conditions and treatments.
