About Deborah Schappell

Deborah Schappell, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist currently practicing at our Westport, MA location. Dr. Schappell received her Dermatology Residency along with her Medical Intern training and certification at Brown University. She received her Medical Degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School with the highest academic honor during her Junior and Senior year membership of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She is a member of several professional associations including the American Academy of Dermatology, Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology, and the Massachusetts Medical Society.

Dr. Schappell takes a holistic approach to dermatology, treating the skin as a mirror of the health of the body. She has a special interest in the importance of good nutrition as it relates to the skin and cosmetic treatments that maintain a natural appearance. Dr. Schappell has been performing cosmetic procedures for over 25 years and currently offers Botox, cosmetic fillers, and peels.

Outside of the office, Dr. Schappell is a passionate gardener and enjoys biking the roads of Southeastern Massachusetts with her college sweetheart, Jack. She has two sons, both aspiring to become physicians. Dr. Schappell is currently accepting new patients of all ages.
