About Brea Prindaville
Dr. Brea Prindaville is a fellowship-trained pediatric dermatologist who is also board-certified in both dermatology and pediatrics. Dr. Prindaville attended NYU for medical school and became a board-certified pediatrician after completing her residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She found her patients’ rashes and skin lesions challenging and decided to pursue pediatric dermatology. She moved back to her home state of Kansas to do a one-year pediatric dermatology fellowship at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City and stayed to complete a dermatology residency at the University of Kansas. She then completed a second fellowship in pediatric dermatology at the University of Massachusetts. For six years, she worked as a pediatric dermatologist at Brown Dermatology and an assistant professor at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where she won several teaching awards. Her professional interests include hemangiomas and vascular lesions, mosaicism, and most importantly, teaching.
Dr. Prindaville offers a wide range of dermatology services in Providence and East Greenwich, Rhode Island. She specializes in Pediatric Dermatology which means patients under 30 years of age. These include treatments for common conditions like acne, eczema, psoriasis, and warts, as well as specialized care for issues such as blistering disorders, connective tissue diseases, infectious diseases, and rare pediatric conditions like genodermatoses and vascular malformations.
