About Oluwatobi (Tobi) Ogbechie-Godec
Oluwatobi (Tobi) Ogbechie-Godec, MD joined Mystic Valley Dermatology Associates in October 2019 and is based out of our Stoneham, MA location. After graduating from Harvard College, magna cum laude, she went on to medical school training at Harvard Medical School and concurrently received a masters in business administration at Harvard Business School. From there, Dr. Ogbechie-Godec completed a medicine internship at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA. Finally, she completed a dermatology residency at NYU Langone where she served as the chief resident and led a department-wide initiative on incorporating big data analysis in dermatologic research. Dr. Ogbechie-Godec has a comprehensive high-quality dermatology practice. She offers a high-quality general dermatologic care to children and adults for all skin conditions, skin colors, and skin types. She performs surgeries for skin cancer, growths, cysts, and moles. Dr. Ogbechie-Godec is also proud to offer personalized cosmetic treatments to improve skin discoloration, skin laxity, scarring, wrinkles, and sun damage with chemical peels, lasers, microneedling, platelet-rich-plasma, Botox®, fillers, and other customized skin regimens. She believes that skin problems and disorders can affect and reflect our internal health. Dr. Ogbechie-Godec treats each patient individually while paying close attention to how it affects one’s greater health. Dr. Ogbechie-Godec serves on, and has chaired, several committees of the American Academy of Dermatology. Outside of dermatology, Dr. Ogbechie-Godec enjoys traveling the world and exploring new activities and cultures with her sons and husband. Dr. Ogbechie-Godec also serves as the Chief Medical Officer at APDerm. In this role, she works with clinicians and administrators to demonstrate and improve practice standards across the organization to ensure high quality care and clinical excellence.
