About Meghan Monk
Meghan Monk, PA-C, graduated from Clark University with her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She started her path in medicine as a first year acquiring her EMT-B and volunteering as a first responder on campus. Upon graduation, she worked at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center before continuing on with her medical studies. She went on to attend Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences where she graduated with her Physician Assistant Studies degree followed by her Regulatory Affairs and Health Policy Degree. During her clinical rotation she completed an elective rotation under a MOHS certified dermatologist in Rhode Island. Meghan has been a practicing clinician for over 4-years, and practicing medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology for over 2-years.
Meghan is well known by patients for having a thorough preventative skin check and comforting bedside manner. While she enjoys practicing the full scope of dermatology, her greatest skill is patient education – empowering the patient to better understand their condition, preventative care options, and long term expectations. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Outside of clinic Meghan enjoys outdoor activities, domestic and international travel, and Thomas Kinkade puzzles.
