About Louisa Codier
Louisa Codier, FNP-C is a family nurse practitioner, specializing in medical dermatology. She has 15 years of experience in the medical field, most of this acquired during her military service, which included time in the United States Army Nurse Corps.
Prior to joining APDerm, Louisa attended the prestigious Nurse Practitioner Fellowship in Dermatology at Beth Israel Lahey Health. Before her dermatology training, she worked as a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner, in a busy community health center.
Louisa strives to provide compassionate, expert care to all of her patients, and is passionate about her work in helping to foster diversity in the field of dermatology. She has a keen interest in inflammatory skin disorders, disorders of pigmentation, and skin cancer.
Outside of work, Louisa enjoys traveling inspired by historical events, spending time with her husband and their dogs, and baseball. Her self-care activities include relaxing to classical music (Baroque), but also breaking a sweat with HIIT training.
