About Kathleen Joyce

Kathleen M. Joyce, MD is taking new patients at our Wellesley office. She sees some established patients in our Waltham office on a limited basis. Dr. Joyce has been part of Adult & Pediatric Dermatology since 2008. She previously worked in our Concord, MA and Westford, MA locations where she enjoyed taking care of her patients’ medical and cosmetic skincare concerns.

Dr. Joyce is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Scranton and earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She was named “Intern of the Year” by the Department of Internal Medicine at Andrews Air Force Base Hospital in 2001. She completed her residency in Dermatology at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. After completing her training, she served the men and women of the armed forces and their families as Chief of Dermatology for the First Fighter Wing at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.

Dr. Joyce enjoys taking care of both adults and children with a wide range of skin concerns from acne to skin cancer. She is also very experienced with the injection of Botox® and the use of lasers and some dermal fillers. Dr. Joyce has a special interest in the use of minimally invasive technologies such as laser and microneedling to combat the aging process. She also has a particular interest in skincare and enjoys taking the time to help patients develop a comprehensive approach to their skincare regimen using some of the great products that we offer at APDerm.

Dr. Joyce is a board-certified dermatologist. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology. She enjoys attending conferences focusing on both medical and cosmetic dermatology so as to keep her practice always up to date.

When she is not at work, Dr. Joyce enjoys staying active by running, preparing healthy meals, watching lacrosse games and cross country meets and chasing her children around!
