About Eric Xu
Dr. Xu completed his dermatology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, following a transitional year internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He earned both his Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Science in Clinical Research (MS) from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor society for his academic excellence. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a member of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
Throughout his medical career, Dr. Xu has received multiple awards for his academic achievements, community service, and research. He has also authored numerous publications in high-impact journals such as JAMA Dermatology, Journal of Investigative Dermatology, and Science. His practice focuses on the use of medical technology in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma. He also specializes in the treatment of common skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, vitiligo, alopecia, and moles (nevi).
Dr. Xu is passionate about providing patient-centered care and leveraging his extensive clinical expertise to deliver exceptional dermatologic outcomes. In his free time, Dr. Xu enjoys exploring new restaurants and culinary experiences with his wife, hiking through the outdoors, and relaxing at home with his cat, Josie.
