About Christy Williams

Christy M. Williams, MD completed her dermatology residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in 2009, where she served as chief resident. A native of Alabama, she graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Birmingham-Southern College. She subsequently received her medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, where she was among the top in her class. She performed her internal medicine internship at Beth-Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, followed by a very sought-after teledermatology fellowship at the Center for Connected Health at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Christy M. Williams, MD clinical interests include skin cancer, acne, psoriasis, as well as general medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She has spoken at local and national conferences on a variety of topics. She has also been published in the Archives of Dermatology, Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and Pediatric Dermatology, among others.

Christy practices a ‘patient-first’ based approach to dermatology. In addition to diagnostic accuracy, she believes a strong patient-physician relationship is important to establish the best individualized treatment plan and achieve best outcomes.
