Expansion into Worcester, MA Will Provide Thousands of Residents
Expedited Access to Quality Dermatologic Care
WORCESTER, MA – August 17, 2021 – APDerm®, the largest physician-led dermatology practice in New England, announced the opening of a new state-of-the-art office, under the company’s Adult & Pediatric Dermatology brand in Worcester, Massachusetts. The Worcester office is the 31 location in new England and grants Worcester residents’ access to premiere medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic care.

Shelly Weedon, PA-C alongside David Geist, MD, and Swaminathan Sundaresan, MD will treat patients of all ages at the new location. Shelly and Dr. Sundaresan specialize in medical and cosmetic dermatology and treat both common and complex dermatological issues. Dr. Geist, who joined APDerm in 2013, is a Mohs Micrographic Surgeon specializing in skin cancers including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma. The providers joining the new Worcester office have a combined medical resume of over 30 years.

To commemorate the new location, APDerm will host a virtual grand opening event on October 5, 2021, from 5:30pm – 6:15 PM. The virtual event will be streamed on APDerm’s Facebook and will include a ribbon cutting, a tour of the new facility, a presentation by Shelly Weedon, and raffle prizes including a gift basket from EltaMD.
